The iPET Network Level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming is designed to be flexible to meet the real-life needs and circumstances of its candidates. It is aimed at candidates that can demonstrate their expertise in understanding an excellent standard of dog grooming skills for both breed standard and free-style grooming. They must demonstrate a high level of knowledge in relation to canine welfare; manage behaviour and business operations; develop their personal and professional development; and gain skills in canine emergency first aid at work.

5 Assessments
• 1 written assessment paper
• 4 practical assessments to cover:
• Hand Strip – Wire coat
• Hand Strip – Silky coat
• Hand Scissor (Breed standard) – Wool coat
• Clip and Scissor – (Freestyle, any coat type)
This qualification is ideal to fit around work, family and life commitments and each Candidate has up to 2 years to complete all parts. With Absolutely Animals we like to offer choice and be flexible in our approach so you can arrange a suitable day with us between Tuesday and Saturday. Multiple grooms can be assessed on the same day and it is the candidates responsibility to source suitable assessment dogs. Additional dates will be scheduled to complete the Canine Health and First Aid Emergencies element of the qualification.
Entry Requirements
You must hold an Ofqual Regulated Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming before signing up to this qualification.
