On this page you can find out more about the techniques we use, how they can benefit you and your dog and the results you can expect.

We cater for all breeds and types, the techniques and styles below may be modified to suit your pet. This may be determined by your own personal request or by the coat condition, health, temperament or behaviour of your pet.

We abide by the professional core values set by the

• International Professional Groomers Association
• Animal Welfare Act 2006

Appointment times are:   9:30am – Pick up 12:30pm   or   1:00pm – Pick up 4:00pm  – Mondays to Saturdays

All dogs will receive free nail trimming and ear cleaning if required and a complimentary bow and cologne spray

2 warm wet washes, an all over body massage and a groom through removing all that old hair and debris and conditioning treatment.

Using only natural based products

This service also comprises of a light trim on the pads, sanitary areas and in front of the eyes if required.

We use the art of clipping and scissoring to offer an attractive hairstyle combined with ease of maintenance.

This technique can be used for all breeds and types with a long coat.

This style requires a weekly grooming maintenance and is only available to pets in reasonably good coat condition. This in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006.

Please bring your dog in every 4-6 weeks for this groom.

This service also includes 2 warm wet washes, an all over body massage, a groom through removing all that old hair and debris and a conditioning treatment.

The body is clipped short (lengths can vary) and the head and tail piece can be trimmed in a short practical way to enhance the overall finish.

This service also includes a bath and dry which consists of 2 warm wet washes, an over body massage a groom through removing all that old hair and debris and a conditioning treatment.

This technique is more costly than a clip and scissor as it is more time consuming and difficult as it is all carried out by an expert hand. The pets coat must be in good condition with no knots or matts and is more comfortable technique for your dog.

Hand-stripping should be done on a 4-12 weekly basis but will depend on the individual coat, temperament and condition of the dog.

We reserve the right to refuse to carry out this technique on some dogs who do not have a suitable coat, temperament or condition as we adhere to the Animal Welfare Act 2006.

Hand-stripping is more costly and time consuming as it is done by hand and is a very labour intensive technique. If we feel it is too uncomfortable for the dog to carry out this technique we will suggest a different technique.

Please note we do not bath handstrip areas as this technique leaves open pores after the hair has been removed and can sometimes cause an inflammation of the skin.

We recommend a bath 3 days or later after hand-stripping has been carried out. (This will be based on a minimum price for the size of dog)

We can use different products depending on how long you want it to last

• Learn how to brush and comb out your pet in between professional grooming sessions – £20 for a half hour show and tell with your pet
• Learn how to bathe, brush, dry, handle and trim your dog in half a day – £125 for a hands on grooming session
• Learn how to bathe,brush,dry,handle, health check and trim your dog in a full day – £200 for a hands on grooming session (you will need a full day if you have a large dog or a medium sized dog with long hair and lots of trimming required).
